Tonights dinner served in the dinning room.  The fire was a real challenge tonight, at one point we had to have the front door and the window open to let the smoke out!

Was held up by an 'exceptional convoy', lorry with a mobile home, no room for anything to pass on the narrow back road up to Col du Soulor.........

Ride out today was to Pont d'Espagne - Nick, Steve and Julie on the bridge - a short walk to see the view:)

April snow in the Pyrenees

After unexpected snow fall in April, Phil thought it a good idea to have a ride to Col de Mente yesterday morning to see what the road conditions were like, unfortunately he was not able to reach the top of the Col due to the amount of snow on the road!

At 6pm we had our first group of 6 bikers arrive on a Pyrenees Motorcycle Tour, they had riden about 250 miles so were ready to sample a few beers and after a four course meal they had thawed out.

This morning with Phil dressed for the cold weather in his heated body vest, heated gloves and grips they left for a ride out into Spain, in search of warmer weather.
