Took the opportunity to see some bikes competing in the Merzouga Rally and had a ride round some local tracks managing to get caught in a dust storm, where the only sensible thing to do is stop as visibility is only a few metres.

The Portuguese contingent turned up later that evening, the KLR650 fixed with a new battery.
